Instructional Design & Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead the instructional design for new Spanish and dual products, offering a professional developer and practitioner viewpoint on content to ensure adherence to best practices.

• Collaborate with content developers, authors, and consultants to brainstorm new products and develop program matrices along with scope and sequences that align with ELA, ELD, and content standards.

• Attend Content Development meetings to assist in conceptualizing and prototyping all new components.

• Develop scope and sequences in collaboration with content developers and external consultants as necessary.

• Create prototypes for new products and provide constructive feedback on prototypes created by others.

• Engage in district and state submissions by drafting and/or reviewing RFP responses to guarantee accuracy and thoroughness of submissions.

• Participate in product launch meetings, scrums, and weekly RFP meetings.

• Work alongside the Director of Instructional Design and Training to develop training scripts for Spanish core and supplemental products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing literacy materials for an educational publisher.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Excellent Spanish writing and editing abilities.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Up-to-date knowledge of language, literacy, and content issues, including relevant research and standards.

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.

• Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Comfortable collaborating with other departments, such as design and marketing.
