Trade School Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with trade and technical schools, workforce development boards, and professional organizations in key markets.

• Discover new partnership opportunities with trade schools that meet the hiring requirements of the organization and promote awareness of skilled trades careers at C&W Services.

• Organize quarterly and on-demand meetings with academic stakeholders, career services teams, and technical instructors.

• Collaborate with educational institutions and community partners on initiatives for workforce readiness, scholarship programs, internship pipelines, and ambassador programs.

• Work closely with the Apprenticeship Department and internal Learning & Development teams to ensure external curriculum offerings align with internal job descriptions.

• Partner with educational institutions to enhance or co-create curriculum based on industry trends, skills gap analysis, and feedback from hiring leaders.

• Participate in advisory boards, roundtables, and curriculum reviews at schools to influence trade education that meets current and future hiring demands.

• Create and maintain a comprehensive map of site requirements and overlay it with the availability of trade school graduates to predict and bridge workforce shortages.

• Plan, organize, and participate in recruitment events on campus, including career fairs, open houses, speaking engagements, and hiring days.

• Generate and present weekly and quarterly reports that assess the effectiveness of trade school partnerships, event ROI, and student engagement.

• Provide status updates and strategic recommendations to Talent Acquisition leadership and business stakeholders regularly.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Workforce Development, Education, or a related field—or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in recruitment, workforce development, educational partnerships, or a related field.

• Experience in campus recruitment, technical hiring, or managing community and school partnerships.

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, including instructors, students, hiring managers, and executives.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, partnerships, and deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in working with data and dashboards, with the ability to analyze metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
