Trade Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Accurately assign HTS classifications utilizing GRIs, section/chapter notes, explanatory notes, administrative rulings, and CBP guidance.

• Assess PGA implications (FDA, EPA, CPSC, etc.) and determine admissibility requirements.

• Evaluate AD/CVD exposure by using ACE and Federal Register resources.

• Perform systematic research on tariff updates, regulatory modifications, trade actions, and PGA stipulations.

• Examine product information (materials, construction, function, specifications) to ensure all necessary details are available for precise classification.

• Comprehensive understanding of HTSUS and Canada HS framework, GRIs, section/chapter notes, explanatory notes, CROSS rulings, and binding precedents.

• Proficient in identifying product intricacies that influence classification and admissibility.

• Knowledgeable about PGA requirements and capable of recognizing agency-specific risks or restrictions.

• Competent in conducting structured research on tariffs and regulations.

• Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing product descriptions, materials, images, and brand specifications.
