📋 Description

• Oversee the trade compliance and import/export strategy for clinical trial samples and reference standard materials related to assigned studies.

• Formulate a Trade Compliance Import/Export strategy tailored for each designated study.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities, offer recommendations, and issue alerts to prevent obstacles in the import/export processes.

• Guarantee that the assigned studies consistently adhere to Trade Compliance, local regulations, company standards, and client requirements.

• Act as the primary contact and escalation point for Trade Compliance and Import/Export concerns for the studies assigned.

• Keep abreast of new processes and regulations regarding Trade Compliance and Import/Export.

• Engage in initiatives aimed at process improvement.

• Serve as the representative of the Trade Compliance and Import/Export department for the studies assigned, acting as the main contact point for issues that arise.

• Collaborate with internal and external personnel on significant issues, often necessitating coordination across various functional areas.

• Tackle problems of varying complexity, requiring data analysis and evaluation of multiple elements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications.

• Prior experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (approximately 5+ years).

• Preferably, previous experience in clinical research, particularly in the import/export of clinical supplies.

• Strong comprehension of import/export operations, local and global regulations, and clinical trial supply chain processes.

• Excellent interpersonal, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.

• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
