This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Assess and constructively question internal responses to consumer complaints and potential issues from the operations team while advising them on a broad range of regulatory requirements, including (but not limited to) credit reporting, disputes, bankruptcy, fair lending, and UDAAP;
• Analyze customer complaints to determine root causes, assess trends, and identify opportunities for product and process enhancements to resolve recurring problems;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance matters and escalate to senior management when necessary;
• Assist with metrics reporting and contribute to process improvement initiatives;
• Support various key compliance and risk management projects as required.
• 3 to 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Compliance, Enterprise or Operational Risk, or Audit within a financial services organization, Fintech, or regulatory body;
• Curious and proactive in suggesting innovative, effective solutions;
• Exceptional project management, critical thinking, time management, and analytical abilities;
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex and critical issues;
• Strong interest in fintech and consumer financial protections.
