• Serve as a stringent compliance checkpoint by rejecting designs that fail to meet the established regulatory baseline, ensuring all deliverables are audit-ready before obtaining final legal approval from clients.
• Keep a meticulous audit trail by documenting the regulatory rationale for each approval or rejection to facilitate post-migration external audits.
• Over 7 years of experience in IT compliance, technical auditing, or information security governance within the telecommunications sector.
• In-depth practical knowledge of global telecom regulatory frameworks, including FCC, CALEA, GDPR, UK IPA, and STIR/SHAKEN.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting manual, checklist-based technical audits and red-team style design validation without dependence on external generative AI tools.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting network topology diagrams, routing tables, and firewall rule sets to identify compliance vulnerabilities.
• Strong ability to convert legal and regulatory requirements into clear technical audit criteria, focusing on governance rather than engineering aspects.
