This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct analyses of internal compensation and external market data to determine salary ranges, job leveling, compa-ratio evaluations, pay equity assessments, and compensation proposals.
• Assist in the annual processes for merit, bonuses, and equity reviews, which includes modeling, budgeting, manager support, system preparation, testing, communications, and post-cycle evaluations.
• Create analyses and recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, off-cycle adjustments, and various pay actions.
• Aid in the administration and ongoing enhancement of base pay, incentive, equity, and recognition programs.
• Oversee the maintenance of job, level, range, and compensation data across different systems and documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, policy compliance, and internal equity of compensation changes and equity inputs.
• Provide operational assistance for health and welfare, retirement, leave, wellness, and other benefits programs.
• Collaborate with benefits vendors and internal stakeholders to address employee inquiries, resolve data discrepancies, and monitor service delivery.
• Support benefits eligibility, enrollment, invoicing, utilization, and renewal analyses.
• Identify opportunities for automating recurring workflows.
• Utilize approved AI tools to expedite analysis, draft content, summarize trends, and enhance self-service, accompanied by human review.
• Develop or refine automation processes, templates, prompts, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with HRIS, People Operations, Finance, and technical partners to enhance integrations, reporting, controls, and workflow designs.
• Ensure compliance with requirements related to compensation, pay transparency, pay equity, benefits, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct audits and reconciliations across HRIS, compensation, equity, payroll, benefits, and reporting data.
• Report data issues, policy exceptions, and potential compliance risks.
• Address sensitive inquiries with discretion and sound judgment.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while adhering to deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
• 2–4 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, benefits, HR analytics, HRIS, or a closely related field.
• Experience in analyzing compensation data and interpreting market benchmarks.
• Ability to formulate recommendations based on quantitative data.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including skills in pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and financial or compensation modeling.
• Proven track record of supporting an annual compensation, bonus, equity, or benefits cycle from planning to audit and closeout.
• Familiarity with HRIS, compensation planning, benefits administration, or market-pricing systems.
• Capability to enhance processes through automation, reporting, workflow design, or approved AI tools.
• Strong attention to detail and responsible management of confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey data and recommendations to non-specialist audiences.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS company (preferred).
• Exposure to salary architecture, job leveling, pay equity, equity compensation, incentive plans, or compensation philosophy (preferred).
• Familiarity with compensation survey sources or market-pricing tools such as Radford, Mercer, WTW, or similar (preferred).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar (preferred).
• Experience in supporting multi-state or global compensation and benefits programs (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CCP, CBP, CEBS, or progress toward certification (preferred).
• Examples of using AI or automation to enhance data quality, reporting, employee support, or operational efficiency (preferred).
• Stock equity, typically awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
