This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Respond to roadside assistance inquiries and evaluate situations.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues.
• Conduct on-site repairs when it is safe and feasible.
• Determine the safest course of action between repair and recovery, and coordinate professional recovery or dealer workshop services when necessary.
• Take ownership of each task from start to finish, ensuring clear communication with customers and providing reassurance.
• Operate and maintain a fully equipped service vehicle.
• Manage tools and inventory effectively.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate records in the system.
• Comply with service, safety, and quality standards while striving to meet achievable targets.
• Responsibly use AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools in accordance with data governance, security, and ethical-use standards.
• Demonstrated experience as a vehicle or roadside technician, capable of working independently on-site.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with contemporary equipment.
• Effective and composed communication skills with customers.
• Proficient in using IT systems, mobile applications, and diagnostic software.
• Valid UK driving license and confidence in driving a fully equipped service van.
• Relevant technical certifications, such as a manufacturer apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Parts I & II, NVQ/B-Tech diploma.
• Existing EV qualifications are preferred; otherwise, a willingness to undertake EV Level 3 IMI Accredited and ATA Level 3 roadside diagnostics training is required.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 7am and 10pm, including some weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Ability to travel throughout Plymouth or Belfast and the surrounding areas.
• £8,000 bonus, plus an additional guaranteed £3,000 bonus in your first year.
• Realistic OTE of £55,000; top performers can earn over £60,000.
• No overnight or 12-hour shifts.
• Average of 42.75 hours per week between 7am and 10pm, Monday through Sunday.
• Alternating start times (7am/11am).
• Two weekends off each month.
• Rota scheduled 12 months ahead.
