This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and execute escrow transactions from initiation to closing, ensuring that all necessary documents and funds are managed accurately.
• Assess and confirm escrow instructions, purchase agreements, and additional transaction documents to guarantee adherence to legal and contractual standards.
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to collect essential information and documentation for each transaction.
• Draft and evaluate escrow documents, including settlement statements, closing disclosures, and other related paperwork.
• Track and monitor transaction progress, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that any issues are promptly addressed.
• Disburse escrow funds in accordance with the contract terms and ensure precise documentation of all transactions.
• Conduct final checks of closing documents to confirm accuracy and completeness prior to distribution.
• Tackle and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to escrow transactions, collaborating closely with title officers and other internal teams as necessary.
• Keep accurate and organized records of all escrow transactions, including documentation and correspondence.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Escrow Processor or in a comparable role within the title or real estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of escrow procedures, title insurance, and real estate transactions.
• Proficiency in escrow and title software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, or ResWare) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, lenders, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to proactively resolve issues and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in escrow processing or related fields.
• Experience with both residential and commercial escrow transactions.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in escrow services.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing real estate transactions, including RESPA and TRID.
• Exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and providing updates on transaction status.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including RESPA and TRID.
