Title Examiner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Offers nationwide title services

• Tasked with facilitating real estate transactions by researching public records and reviewing titles for properties to assess the legal status of property titles

• Gathers, investigates, and analyzes public and tax records to evaluate liabilities and the legal standing of the title, as well as the insurability of the property

• Produces precise and thorough title commitments in line with company examining and policy guidelines

• Engages in a variety of support tasks to aid departmental operations

• Adheres to well-defined procedures to accomplish daily responsibilities and tasks

• Applies established procedures to resolve straightforward issues without frequently needing to use discretion

• Utilizes fundamental communication skills to interact with internal and/or external clients and/or team members

• Functions as an individual contributor under direct supervision with minimal independence

• Carries out all other responsibilities assigned by management

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Generally requires 0-2 years of relevant work experience
