This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Prepare and evaluate Texas title commitments (Schedule A, B, and C) with precision and efficiency.
• Review title documents, including deeds, liens, judgments, easements, and legal descriptions.
• Identify title issues and exceptions while ensuring proper documentation and disclosure.
• Interpret and implement Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) regulations and promulgated forms.
• Collaborate with abstractors, examiners, and escrow teams to address title defects.
• Uphold compliance with underwriting guidelines and company standards.
• Ensure commitments are delivered within client deadlines and meet service-level expectations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding file status and any title-related concerns.
• Must reside in Texas (non-negotiable).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing and/or reviewing Texas title commitments.
• Strong knowledge of Texas title insurance practices, TDI promulgated forms and procedures, title examination, and curative processes.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents and property descriptions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with title software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
