This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a primary contact for employee and manager inquiries related to timekeeping and payroll, investigating issues and offering guidance or escalation as necessary.
• Assist employees with their timesheet entries and corrections, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
• Examine payroll and timekeeping data to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
• Support employees and managers with inquiries regarding timecards and related transactions.
• Manage the processing of garnishments and refunds related to garnishments.
• Handle Notifications of Change and direct deposit returns; provide assistance with banking and payment-related issues.
• Address a high volume of employee inquiries via phone and case management systems.
• Process Approver Group and Modifier Group tickets, updating the relevant manager approval groups.
• Supply payroll and timekeeping information to HR, Legal, management, and other departments.
• Aid in payroll and timekeeping audits, reporting, and special projects.
• Recognize recurring issues and escalate them when necessary.
• Uphold the confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll or timekeeping.
• Familiarity with Deltek, Costpoint, and/or other timekeeping systems.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in providing customer support via phone and ticketing systems.
• Excellent client-facing and communication abilities.
• Strong understanding of time charging and payroll policies/procedures, in compliance with company and federal labor laws.
• Working knowledge of helpdesk software, databases, and remote control tools.
• Experience in supporting payroll and/or timekeeping processes.
• Capability to research and resolve employee inquiries and issues.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience in handling confidential employee information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with payroll, timekeeping, or case management systems.
• Availability to work U.S. East Coast business hours and additional hours as required.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, with the ability to obtain a security clearance if needed.
