Clinical Aged Care Needs Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations for senior citizens within the Aged Care Planning Regional area of Victoria (VIC 3 – Loddon Mallee)

• Provide high-quality, person-centered assessments to assist older Australians in obtaining suitable aged care services

• Carry out in-person needs assessments throughout the Loddon Mallee region

• Execute remote assessments utilizing telehealth technology

• Offer clinical expertise and support to Non-Clinical Aged Care Needs Assessors

• Ensure that assessments are precise, comprehensive, and compliant with aged care standards and regulations

• Perform additional responsibilities such as delegation and triage

• Collaborate within Bendigo Health’s Community and Continuing Care Division and the My Aged Care Single Assessment Workforce

⛳️ Requirements

• 2026 flu vaccination is mandatory

• Full immunization record will be required upon successful onboarding

• Submission of a cover letter and a current resume is necessary

• Clinical expertise to conduct detailed aged care needs assessments

• Capability to perform in-person assessments that necessitate travel within the Loddon Mallee

• Skill in conducting remote assessments through telehealth platforms

• Ability to provide clinical direction to Non-Clinical Aged Care Needs Assessors

• Credentials in allied health or nursing that align with the applicable EBA/classification
