Inside Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Investigate and validate the details of loss for the most intricate Homeowners claims.

• Assess coverage and damages.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within the scope of authority.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

• Collaborate with fraud or subrogation representatives to secure optimal outcomes.

• Recognize essential aspects of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems.

• Understand complex customer needs and address them using suitable customer service techniques.

• Assess subrogation or fraud potential and manage appropriately.

• Manage all facets of complex Homeowners first-party claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, with discretion and autonomy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience at the Adjuster II level or in a specialized role (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, Desk Review).

• Proven experience in investigating complex Homeowners claims.

• Familiarity with residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems.

• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics.

• Understanding of claims coverage, damages, subrogation, and fraud risk.

• Capability to determine coverage, damages, and negotiate claims within established authority limits.

• Strong customer service skills to address complex customer requirements.

• Authorization to work in the United States; the company does not provide work visa sponsorship.

• A dedicated home workspace that is free from distractions.

• Stable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
