Ticketing Team Member – Latin America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a Ticketing Member to accurately and promptly process flight bookings during each shift utilizing Sabre.

• Daily responsibilities include creating and managing booking records, pricing fares, issuing tickets, processing changes, and managing voids and refunds.

• Collaborate closely with your Ticketing Team Lead, who will assign tasks and assist with escalations.

• Build and oversee Passenger Name Records (PNRs) within Sabre.

• Utilize fare pricing tools and stored price quotes (PQs) in Sabre to price itineraries and ensure fare correctness prior to issuance.

• Manage ticket exchanges and reissues for clients needing flight modifications.

• Process ticket voids, which involve same-day cancellations that must be handled within a specific timeframe, along with ticket refunds.

• Keep track of active holds and notify your Team Lead of any that are set to expire within 3 hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Sabre GDS is a mandatory requirement for this position.

• A minimum of 3 years of practical ticketing experience with Sabre, gained in a travel agency, airline, tour operator, or travel management company where ticket issuance was a primary responsibility.

• A comprehensive understanding of fare rules: you should be capable of interpreting the conditions associated with a ticket in Sabre and apply them correctly during issuance, changes, or refunds.

• Exceptional attention to detail regarding passenger data accuracy.

• The capability to maintain a consistent work pace while ensuring accuracy.

• A proactive communication style is essential.
