This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Accurately and promptly issue flight bookings during each shift using Sabre.
β’ Create and manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) within the Sabre system.
β’ Utilize fare pricing tools and stored price quotes (PQs) in Sabre to price itineraries and verify the correct fare prior to issuing.
β’ Issue electronic tickets (e-tickets) across various Pseudo City Codes (PCCs).
β’ Process ticket exchanges and reissues when clients need to modify their flights.
β’ Manage ticket voids and refunds in accordance with airline policies.
β’ Monitor the queue in Sabre to ensure no task remains unacknowledged for over 30 minutes.
β’ Confirm every detail in the PNR, including passenger name spelling, date of birth, frequent flyer number, flight routing, payment method, and fare rules before ticket issuance.
β’ Ensure that all ticket details are accurately recorded in the booking database.
β’ Collaborate with the Client Service team for urgent holds or last-minute fare approvals.
β’ Immediately escalate any system errors in Sabre, discrepancies in booking data, or VIP issues to your Team Lead.
β’ Proficiency in Sabre GDS is a mandatory requirement for this position.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in Sabre ticketing, within a travel agency, airline, tour operator, or travel management company where ticket issuance was a primary responsibility.
β’ A comprehensive understanding of fare rules: you can interpret the conditions associated with a ticket in Sabre and apply them accurately during issuance, changes, or refunds.
β’ Strong focus on passenger data accuracy: you recognize the importance of correct name spelling, date of birth, and frequent flyer numbers to ensure ticket validity.
β’ Ability to maintain a consistent workflow while ensuring accuracy, even during peak times when multiple bookings require attention simultaneously.
β’ A proactive communication style: if something appears incorrect or unclear, you alert your Team Lead promptly.
