This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee intelligence platform vendors and resources (Ontic/Liferaft), while consistently enhancing intelligence collection capabilities, source coverage, and monitoring procedures.
• Develop and uphold strategies for monitoring social media, open-source, deep web, and dark web to pinpoint emerging threats affecting clients, content, intellectual property, and business operations.
• Formulate and refine intelligence collection requirements, search queries, and monitoring methods to facilitate proactive threat identification and analysis.
• Perform due diligence assessments, background research, and investigative support in partnership with internal teams and security stakeholders.
• Sustain and improve the Person of Interest database, ensuring precise documentation, case tracking, and visibility across regional security teams.
• Analyze gathered intelligence to detect trends, evaluate potential threats, and generate actionable intelligence reports, assessments, and executive briefings.
• Assist in threat assessments and targeted violence risk evaluations utilizing structured professional judgment methodologies and established threat assessment frameworks.
• Investigate incidents related to physical security, content security, and intellectual property, including evidence collection, analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with global security teams, law enforcement partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate threat mitigation and incident response efforts.
• Provide prompt escalation of emerging threats and security issues while acting with discretion and safeguarding the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• At least 5 years of pertinent intelligence experience in the private sector, focusing on threat management, protective intelligence, investigations, or risk analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of open-source intelligence (OSINT), social media intelligence (SOCMINT), public records research, deep/dark web research methods, and intelligence collection practices.
• Proficiency in using intelligence platforms and threat monitoring tools such as Ontic, Liferaft, or comparable systems.
• Experience in conducting threat assessments and applying structured professional judgment frameworks for targeted violence risk evaluations.
• Strong investigative aptitude with the capability to carry out comprehensive, objective, and impartial investigations.
• Proven experience in creating intelligence products, including written assessments, executive summaries, and threat briefings for both technical and executive audiences.
• Background in collaborating with global teams, law enforcement agencies, and external partners.
• Preferred experience in supporting security operations within technology, media, entertainment, or other high-profile sectors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convert complex intelligence into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment while exercising sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology, International Relations/Political Science, Forensic Science, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
