This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead the gathering of requirements, facilitate discovery sessions, and conduct stakeholder workshops.
• Convert business needs into user stories, epics, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Ensure that requirements fulfill the Definition of Ready (DoR) prior to the development handoff.
• Oversee requirements traceability and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
• Assess and enhance end-to-end customer journeys across eCommerce platforms.
• Define solutions utilizing Shopify, Adobe Commerce, and associated ecosystem tools.
• Assist with replatforming projects (e.g., Shopify migrations) and website redesigns.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to optimize experiences and improve conversion rates.
• Transform business requirements into commerce features (catalog, checkout, promotions, search, and personalization).
• Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and uncover opportunities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs (conversion, revenue, AOV, etc.).
• Facilitate A/B testing, SEO, personalization, and conversion rate optimization initiatives.
• Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between business, product, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure alignment of business requirements with technical feasibility.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Assist in client discussions and offer consultative guidance on eCommerce best practices.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and digital commerce roadmaps.
• 4–6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within digital or eCommerce settings.
• Strong proficiency with Shopify (preferred) and/or Adobe Commerce (Magento).
• Demonstrated experience in:
• Requirements gathering and documentation.
• User stories and backlog management.
• Facilitation of stakeholder workshops.
• Solid understanding of:
• eCommerce operations (catalog, checkout, payments, promotions).
• Customer experience (UX/UI and conversion optimization).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills enabling interaction with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a background in leveraging data for decision-making.
