Senior Business Analyst

📋 Description

• The Operational Excellence team is part of Technology & Cyber and serves as the link between process excellence and the ServiceNow Centre of Excellence. This position is highly visible and allows you the autonomy to define your responsibilities, influence operational methods, and drive ongoing improvements throughout the function.

• You will collaborate with the Head of Operational Excellence and the ServiceNow Centre of Excellence, working with stakeholders across Technology & Cyber to address challenges, streamline workflows, enhance service outcomes, and facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives. This role provides extensive exposure, considerable responsibility, and the chance to create a lasting effect on Technology & Cyber's operations.

• You will play a significant role in our ServiceNow roadmap alongside our development team.

• You’ll be responsible for creating user stories, enhancements, defects, and feature requests that will shape our approach to delivering improvements and digital transformation across the organization.

• Your involvement will include conducting workshops, training sessions, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for both team members and the broader organization.

• You will extend your focus to additional team domains, beginning with IT Services (the largest team within the Run domain) to assist us on our journey towards a process-driven end-to-end operation.

• Responsibilities include mapping, documenting, and redesigning processes. Some processes will return to our ServiceNow COE for automation, others will be mapped as-is, and some may require changes in personnel or processes rather than technology — your role will be crucial in all these aspects.

• You will work across Plan, Build, and Run stages, seamlessly transitioning between planning phases, day-to-day operations, and project-related tasks.

• Act as an advocate for both Operational Excellence and the ServiceNow COE, with Automation, AI, Deflection, and User Experience always at the forefront. Assist us in making data-driven decisions.

• A professional with a strong focus on technology.

• Experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms is preferred.

• More importantly, you should be positive, passionate, and energetic, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a degree of autonomy. You should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools is highly desirable.

• You understand what excellence looks like, with experience in a process and data-driven environment.

• You are not afraid to question the status quo and will bring new perspectives to the table.

• You have a collaborative spirit. You demonstrate kindness, offer respect, and expect it in return.

• Ideally, you are trained and qualified in business analysis or a related field.
