This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Transform Slack’s platform messaging into impactful market-facing content and thought leadership.

• Create and produce whitepapers, trend reports, narrative essays, and points of view (POV) pieces.

• Own content narratives for significant Slack product launches and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.

• Develop story angles, briefing narratives, and POV frameworks for Communications and Analyst Relations.

• Collaborate with the web product marketing manager (PMM) on content strategy for slack.com.

• Support executive thought leadership through ghostwritten articles, LinkedIn content, and long-form pieces.

• Build, manage, and mentor a small team of senior content and web PMMs.

• Establish editorial standards, content quality benchmarks, and voice guidelines.

• Over 10 years of experience in content strategy, product marketing, or editorial leadership.

• A portfolio showcasing strategic thinking and outstanding writing skills.

• A proven history of building and leading high-performing content teams.

• Experience in producing content that has shifted perceptions, driven pipeline, earned press, or sparked discussions.

• Capability to work from an established messaging framework and convert it into engaging content.

• Proficiency in translating complex product narratives into market-oriented content.

• Experience managing content strategy for major product or GTM initiatives from start to finish.

• Strong editorial judgment.

• Fluency in AI, enterprise software, or future-of-work concepts is a significant advantage.
