Third Party Collector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect payments and engage with debtors to address outstanding issues.

• Work in partnership with clients, sales teams, and colleagues regarding overdue accounts.

• Reach out to debtors via phone, mail, or email.

• Assess the financial situations of debtors.

• Review and analyze documents and contracts.

• Investigate and resolve disputes while determining appropriate resolutions.

• Comply with all regulatory requirements.

• Close cases or escalate them as necessary.

• Conduct a minimum of 80 outbound/inbound calls.

• Negotiate full payment or arrange payment plans.

• Instill a sense of urgency among non-paying debtors.

• Collaborate closely with the Client Support Representative to address disputes.

• Achieve or surpass monthly targets for calls, activities, and fees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in collections, sales, telemarketing, customer service, or call center roles is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

• Proficient data entry skills.

• Strong computer literacy.

• Familiarity with Excel is preferred.

• Ability to think critically.

• Basic math and writing proficiency.

• Experience with Salesforce is a bonus.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Goal-driven.

• Capability to de-escalate challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
