Therapeutic Medical Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) at national, regional, and local levels who are engaged in cardiovascular care.

• Initiate and respond to scientific exchanges proactively and reactively.

• Sustain and strengthen current scientific collaborations and professional relationships.

• Act as a scientific authority at major medical and scientific conferences.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the disease state.

• Ensure timely management and responses for medical information requests, as well as support for Medical Affairs and pharmacovigilance.

• Provide assistance to our clinical development initiatives.

• Contribute to the development of Account Planning strategies.

• Deliver initial and ongoing training on disease and product information to both internal teams and field personnel.

• Ensure accurate and prompt documentation of activities within relevant company databases and platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (BSc, MSc, BPharm, MPharm, PhD, BM BS, or equivalent) is preferred.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Senior MSL positions.

• Preferable experience in the cardiovascular therapy field and/or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

• Experience in heart failure is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Must demonstrate analytical thinking and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

• Exceptional presentation skills are essential.

• Familiarity with the roles and responsibilities of Medical Science Liaisons is required.

• Understanding of compliance standards set by the ABPI Code, AIFA, and Farmaindustria regulations.

• Must meet all credentialing requirements for any healthcare institution.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.

• A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are necessary.

• Willingness to travel domestically (~30%-50%) and occasionally internationally (to be determined).
