Research & Knowledge Services Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assist in tracking business generation activities, which includes updating court dockets, identifying case specifics, and entering and maintaining records within a CRM system.

• Perform research on attorneys, competitors, litigation case lists, and legal documents, utilizing both internal and external resources as necessary.

• Search for and evaluate legal filings (such as reports, testimonies, and relevant court documents) through legal research databases.

• Support data entry and upkeep of team databases.

⛳️ Requirements

• A MLS or MLIS degree is required, or at least three years of relevant legal research experience.

• Previous experience with legal research databases like CourtLink, Lexis, Lex Machina, and Westlaw is essential.

• Knowledge of AI-driven research tools and analytics platforms, with a capability to incorporate emerging technologies into research processes.

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Competence in organizing, planning, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Highly organized with excellent time management abilities, capable of handling multiple requests concurrently.

• A minimum commitment of 6 months is mandatory.
