Test Manager – Payroll, HR Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establishing and upholding the Test Strategy, methodology, and governance framework.

• Organizing and overseeing all testing phases, including SIT, UAT, End-to-End Testing, Payroll Parallel Runs, and ensuring Go-Live readiness.

• Collaborating with business users, suppliers, technical teams, and operational stakeholders throughout the testing process.

• Overseeing defects, issues, risks, and the escalation processes.

• Guaranteeing sufficient coverage across business processes, payroll requirements, integrations, reporting, and compliance obligations.

• Assisting in cutover planning, dress rehearsals, and deployment readiness activities.

• Delivering clear reporting and recommendations to the programme governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading testing activities within large-scale business transformation or ERP programmes.

• Experience collaborating with public sector organizations, especially Local Government, or working in consultancy environments supporting public sector clients.

• Strong knowledge of test strategy, planning, governance, and execution.

• Proven track record in managing SIT, UAT, and end-to-end business testing.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.

• Experience in managing defects, risks, and testing dependencies.

• Background in Payroll, HR, or Workforce Management system implementations.

• Experience with data migration and integration testing support.

• Familiarity with top-tier business applications.

• Previous experience with Zellis would be a plus.
