This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.
• Develop and test the PeopleSoft Global Payroll rules engine.
• Update and enhance existing extensions or customized software.
• Experience integrating PeopleSoft Global Payroll with current PeopleSoft HCM solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain customizations and enhancements across various PeopleSoft modules.
• Create and support complex components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, and Event Mapping.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, SQR, PS/Query, BI Publisher, and web services.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, data integrity concerns, and system bugs across multiple modules.
• Implement security best practices, manage user roles and permissions, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
• Support batch scheduling, job streams, and workflow automation using Application Engine, Process Scheduler, and PeopleSoft Workflows.
• Engage in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation, change control artifacts, and deployment packages.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must have a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance with the capacity to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Security+ Certification or IAT Level 2 certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of PeopleSoft development experience in HCM, Financials, and/or Campus Solutions.
• Expert-level proficiency with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
• Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft security, performance tuning, and management changes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead development tasks, mentor team members, and collaborate with functional and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and accessibility compliance.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS-hosted PeopleSoft environments.
• Ability to work independently and serve as a technical lead within a cross-functional team.
