Test Manager – ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold the Test Strategy, approach, and governance framework.

• Organize and oversee all stages of testing, which include SIT, UAT, End-to-End Testing, Payroll Parallel Runs, and Go-Live Readiness.

• Collaborate with business users, suppliers, technical teams, and operational stakeholders throughout the testing process.

• Oversee defects, issues, risks, and escalation procedures.

• Ensure sufficient coverage across business processes, payroll requirements, integrations, reporting, and compliance obligations.

• Assist in cutover planning, dress rehearsals, and activities related to deployment readiness.

• Deliver clear reporting and recommendations to programme governance.

• Assume responsibility for the comprehensive testing strategy and execution for a significant ERP Programme.

• Partner closely with client stakeholders, programme teams, and technology suppliers to validate solutions and confirm deployment readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading testing initiatives within large-scale business transformation or ERP programmes.

• Background in working with public sector organizations, especially Local Government, or in consultancy roles supporting public sector clients.

• Solid understanding of test strategy, planning, governance, and execution.

• Experience in managing SIT, UAT, and comprehensive business testing.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Experience in overseeing defects, risks, and testing dependencies.
