This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement both manual and automated testing for Health IT applications and solutions related to healthcare interoperability.
• Create and conduct thorough testing strategies that validate application functionality, system integrations, healthcare data exchange, interoperability, quality, and reliability.
• Evaluate Health Information Exchange (HIE), patient-facing healthcare applications, clinical data repositories, and healthcare interoperability solutions.
• Incorporate automated testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Assess cloud-based applications, particularly within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Assist federal government initiatives or healthcare IT programs.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and both technical and functional stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct testing related to accessibility, Section 508 compliance, security, privacy, and adherence to healthcare and federal information-system standards.
• Proficient in version control tools such as Git and SVN.
• Familiarity with the Agile Scrum framework and experience in test automation within CI/CD environments.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experienced with test automation tools like HP UFT, Selenium, and JMeter.
• Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability and standards, including HL7, C-CDA, FHIR, and IHE.
• Proficient in test management platforms like ADO, HP ALM, and Jira.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Extensive experience throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of USCDI and relevant ONC Health IT interoperability requirements.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and Section 508 testing.
• Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance requirements pertinent to healthcare and federal information systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited four-year institution.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Professional certifications in software quality assurance, testing, information technology, or a related field.
• Preferred: ISTQB CTFL, CTAL, CSQE-ASQ, CAT, or equivalent certifications.
• Ability to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear; occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
