This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +2 more states.
• Conduct thorough analysis of both front-end and back-end systems to ensure quality and reliability.
• Design and implement automated testing solutions at scale.
• Develop and execute automated test cases to create robust and reliable service pipelines.
• Carry out integration testing across various APIs, databases, flat files, systems, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during requirements gathering and technical design reviews.
• Assess and enhance existing data test automation frameworks.
• Suggest and apply modern automation tools and techniques.
• Oversee and enhance automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Advocate for quality ownership throughout the team.
• Facilitate rapid and direct feedback loops for every code submission.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or in software development using C#, Python, or Go.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Proficient in working across both Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with a major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Practical experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Locust, Gatling, or K6.
• Ability to identify quality issues in data collection, storage, and processing.
• Extensive experience with relational databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, or MariaDB.
• Knowledge of streaming platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub.
• Proficient in Git workflow practices.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, Codefresh, or Rundeck.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis and SLA/incident management.
• Skilled in debugging and parsing data pipelines.
• Solid foundation in QA methodologies, including functional, performance, regression, black-box, and white-box testing.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and effectively communicating technical concepts.
• Knowledge of the healthcare domain, particularly EDI, NCPDP, and pharmacy/PBM transaction processing, is an advantage.
• Experience in high-security coding environments such as HIPAA or PCI compliance is a plus.
• A history of contributions to open-source projects is a bonus.
