Senior Hardware Test Development Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and design testing systems and procedures for manufacturing operations

• Formulate test plans, test cases, and test scripts to evaluate functionality and performance

• Create, validate, release, and support test software and scripts that automate the testing process

• Provide support and maintenance for the manufacturing server and rack-level testing software and infrastructure

• Keep thorough documentation of testing procedures, specifications, and infrastructure

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing requirements and quality standards

• Remain informed about the latest advancements in testing technologies, methodologies, and best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• 5-8 years of experience in software manufacturing test development/sustaining with enterprise server, storage, or networking products

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Proficiency in Python, Java, BASH, C, and C++

• Expertise in Linux development with a solid understanding of its fundamentals: CentOS/Ubuntu

• Familiarity with hardware and API solutions for controlling, managing, and stressing L10 devices

• Experience with code versioning tools, preferably Git

• Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices throughout the entire software development life cycle
