Test Engineer

📋 Description

• The Test Engineer will collaborate with an Agile development team to create test cases and scripts derived from user stories that are well-documented;

• develop and execute both manual and automated testing;

• perform software testing during the Agile iterations;

• log defects and monitor quality metrics to support each release.

• Work closely with the Development and Functional teams to gain insights into new features.

• Assist the QA/Test Manager in supporting PIEE Development Activities, including tracking quality assurance and quality control metrics as well as resolving problem reports and customer trouble tickets.

• The Test Engineer will facilitate release activities by generating reports that outline their engagement and the outcomes of testing efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen, capable of obtaining a Secret Clearance

• Bachelor's degree required

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience

• Strong analytical skills (capable of creating and updating test cases from user stories)

• Ability to operate independently in a dynamic Agile development team environment, reviewing business requirements while enhancing business needs.

• Exceptional communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
