QA Automation Engineer, DMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance automated test coverage utilizing Kotlin or Java.

• Evaluate backend services across REST APIs, Kafka integrations, and microservice architectures.

• Create effective test cases and pinpoint areas lacking in test coverage.

• Conduct manual and exploratory testing for new features and changes to the product.

• Verify data consistency and accuracy within PostgreSQL databases.

• Manage automated tests within GitLab CI pipelines and ensure test reliability across different environments.

• Review automation code and contribute to the advancement of QA and engineering practices.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers to uphold quality throughout the delivery process.

• Assist in release activities, including regression testing and validation of production readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software testing, encompassing test automation.

• Proficient programming abilities in Kotlin or Java.

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests within production environments.

• Practical experience with REST API testing.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging broker technologies.

• Strong SQL expertise and experience working with PostgreSQL.

• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab CI.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles, quality assurance methodologies, and test design techniques.

• Capability to engage in both manual and automated testing tasks.
