PAT Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conducting portable appliance testing across various commercial locations.

• Performing minor remedial tasks as necessary.

• Generating precise test reports for quality assurance by our Technical Manager.

• Collaborating closely with the Technical Manager and the Operations team.

• Utilizing our custom testing software, crafted for optimal speed and efficiency.

• Engaging in facilities management, retail, commercial, education, and local authority environments.

• Assisting in identifying improvements for testing software and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A recognized electrical qualification or an equivalent PAT testing certification, ideally as a time-served tester.

• Demonstrated experience in testing practices.

• Proven capability to operate safely in line with company policies and safety regulations.

• Commitment to staying informed about current legislation and completing necessary training.

• Bonus of £0.15 per item for 325+ items, increasing to £0.25 per item for 375+ items, and £0.35 per item for 425+ items.

• Overtime compensated at £0.40 per item from the first test for weekend work and hours exceeding 40 per week.

• All visual tests are counted as half an item for bonus and overtime calculations.
