Test Automation Engineer, Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold automated test cases, run test suites, analyze and troubleshoot reported bugs, and guarantee the overall quality of the system before a production launch.

• Create, sustain, and resolve issues within automated test suites through continuous integration to provide valuable feedback.

• Ensure the stability of test infrastructure in non-production settings.

• Engage with various teams to troubleshoot and prioritize issues, aiming for root cause analysis and resolution.

• Collaborate closely with software developers to produce software documentation including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.

• Work alongside internal partner engineering teams across functional areas in a structured agile framework.

• Estimate personal testing tasks and operate efficiently with minimal supervision while demonstrating a positive team spirit.

• Impact the entire engineering organization regarding unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in developing automation frameworks for mobile/web applications, especially within social media or similar applications.

• Strong command of testing methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, test documentation processes, and QA best practices.

• Thorough understanding of the CI/CD process and quality assurance checks within the workflow.

• Capable of independently outlining test plans based on project requirements.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Proficient in identifying impact areas in the application based on requirements for ad-hoc and exploratory testing.

• Comfortable working in iOS and Android testing environments.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development setting.

• Innovative problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC and proficiency in utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence for lifecycle management.
