Test Automation Engineer, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold automated test cases, execute testing suites, analyze and diagnose reported bugs, ensuring overall system quality prior to production deployment.

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration to provide valuable feedback.

• Ensure the stability of the test infrastructure within non-production environments.

• Engage in troubleshooting and prioritizing issues with various teams to facilitate root cause analysis and resolution.

• Collaborate closely with software developers to produce software artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.

• Work across different functional areas with internal partner engineering teams within a disciplined agile framework.

• Estimate testing tasks independently and work efficiently with minimal supervision while demonstrating a positive team attitude.

• Influence the entire engineering organization regarding unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in developing automation frameworks for mobile/web applications, particularly in social media or similar apps.

• Strong expertise in testing methodologies, SDLC methodologies, test documentation practices, and QA best practices.

• Capable of independently creating test plans based on specified requirements.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to identify the areas of impact in the application based on requirements for conducting ad-hoc and exploratory testing.

• Proficiency in testing environments for both iOS and Android.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment.

• Strong creative problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC and familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence for lifecycle management.
