Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to our clients regarding testing methodologies and strategies in both traditional and agile test automation.

• Automate testing processes utilizing GUIs, web services, interfaces, and more.

• Take on the responsibility for the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of automated test frameworks.

• Plan and execute automated unit, system, integration, UAT, and end-to-end tests using a variety of tools.

• Monitor the progress of tests and communicate the results effectively.

• Collaborate closely with an international and cross-functional project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT training, or a career changer with relevant qualifications.

• One to two years of professional experience, or experience in test automation gained through student employment or internships.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, Appium, Cucumber, Cypress, JUnit, or SoapUI.

• Experience with software development environments including Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, or Maven.

• Basic programming skills, for instance in Java, Python, C#, or Perl.

• ISTQB® certification is a plus.

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
