Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create in-depth manual and automated testing strategies for application development and maintenance that support PEO initiatives.

• Formulate test plans, strategies, cases, and procedures for ServiceNow modules and software updates.

• Design, develop, and sustain reusable automated test scripts utilizing Selenium, ServiceNow ATF, and CI/CD frameworks.

• Utilize DoD Approved Multimodal AI models to generate tailored ATF Steps.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for ServiceNow applications and custom workflows.

• Carry out API testing for system integrations.

• Detect, monitor, and document bugs through defect reports, severity assessments, and bug hunts.

• Deliver metrics regarding test coverage, defect trends, and product quality.

• Collaborate in sprint planning, defect triage, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.

• Implement DoD cybersecurity, data protection, and software quality best practices.

• Enhance and continually refine test automation frameworks.

• Generate dashboards and performance reports to facilitate decision-making.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing activities and develop UAT tests in conjunction with Product Owners.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of nine (9) years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and automation.

• An active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory at the start of employment.

• IAT Level II certification is required: CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow development and testing, including modules, workflows, and integrations.

• Familiarity with Selenium or ServiceNow ATF and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in Agile or DevOps team environments.

• A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

• At least seven (7) years of relevant experience is preferred.
