Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Ensure end-to-end quality of digital products and services through functional and automated testing.

• Design and execute E2E tests for critical business flows on Flutter applications, APIs, external integrations, and data persistence.

• Maintain and enhance the mobile E2E automation suite.

• Automate and validate backend services/APIs using positive, negative, error, and regression scenarios.

• Assemble and orchestrate tests across complete business journeys to build E2E regression suites.

• Validate third-party integrations by considering transactional consistency, errors, timeouts, reversals, and traceability.

• Validate integrity, states, and consistency of information in databases.

• Independently manage the triage of the QA backlog and defects, determining severity and priority.

• Raise evidence and coordinate defect resolution with development and product teams.

• Utilize observability and AI tools to accelerate analysis, test plans, cases, scripts, and continuous improvement of the quality process.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in QA, with a strong proven background in E2E automation.

• More than 2 years of experience in mobile automation, ideally with applications built in Flutter.

• Hands-on experience in Mobile E2E automation using Maestro, Qmetry, Appium, or Selenium.

• Experience in backend/API testing automation using Karate DSL, Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.

• Proficiency in querying and validating data in relational and non-relational databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, DocumentDB, and/or DynamoDB.

• Familiarity with test management and tracking tools: Jira + X-Ray, Qmetry, or equivalents.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and the autonomy to triage/prioritize defects.

• Active use of Artificial Intelligence tools applied to the QA cycle: Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, and Kiro.

• Previous experience in Fintech, Banking, or Payment Media: desirable.

• Experience with observability tools for log analysis and incident management: desirable.

• Technical or higher level of English: desirable.
