
Territory Sales Representative – Direct Sales, Window Coverings, AV, Custom Integrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify and secure new dealer accounts within your designated territory.
• Focus on independent window covering retailers, blind and shade shops, franchise operators, AV integrators, custom installation companies, and specialty home furnishing retailers.
• Develop a territory pipeline from the ground up through proactive outreach, referrals, trade shows, personal visits, and local market engagement.
• Perform live in-store demonstrations of products using MOTORYSE demo kits.
• Leverage the 60-second retrofit installation as a key selling point during presentations to dealers.
• Assist new dealers in understanding the MOTORYSE product range, pricing structures, profit margins, and sales methodology.
• Familiarize dealers with the MOTORYSE dealer portal, sales resources, training videos, and co-branded marketing materials.
• Educate dealers on how to effectively present the product to homeowners.
• Provide support for initial orders and ensure each dealer has a clear pathway to commence sales.
• Keep a well-organized CRM pipeline with regular updates on a weekly basis.
• Prepare and submit monthly territory reports to the Head of Sales.
• Visit current dealer accounts to nurture relationships and facilitate reorder activities.
• Discover opportunities for multi-unit purchases, contractor packages, commercial projects, and bulk orders.
• Represent MOTORYSE at regional trade shows, dealer functions, and industry events.
• Convey market insights, competitive information, and dealer feedback to the product and marketing teams.
• Minimum of 2 years of B2B field sales experience.
• Experience selling in one or more of the following sectors:
• - Window coverings
• - Blinds and shades
• - AV or custom integration
• - Smart home technology
• - Building products
• - Home furnishings
• - Home improvement products
• Established relationships with dealers, retailers, installers, franchise operators, or integrators within your territory.
• Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and developing a customer base from scratch.
• Comfortable conducting in-person product demonstrations and installation walkthroughs.
• Strong prospecting skills and an aptitude for cold outreach.
• Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar platforms.
• A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and readiness to travel frequently within your territory.
• Compensation package includes base salary, commission, dealer activation bonuses, and quarterly performance bonuses.
• Base Salary: $40,000 annually, paid on a monthly basis.
• New Dealer Activation Bonus: $150 for each new dealer that places a qualifying initial order (minimum order of 2 hero products).
• Commission on Sales: Up to 5%, on a sliding scale.
• Projected Earnings at Target:
• - Year 1 - $90,000+
• - Year 2 - $115,000+
• - Year 3 - $130,000+
