This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Implement the sales strategy and achieve set targets for the designated territory.
• Identify potential customers for animal nutrition and health products.
• Employ value-added selling techniques alongside marketing support initiatives.
• Capable of providing, clarifying, and guiding customers to comprehend the Balchem product value proposition.
• Engage in and contribute to strategic and tactical discussions for business growth with clients.
• Organize and deliver technical product presentations to key decision-makers.
• Track product performance and assess customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on developments within the dairy industry.
• Create sales forecasts to facilitate efficient production planning.
• Supply competitive market intelligence.
• Support the introduction and promotion of products at trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related discipline (preferably dairy or animal science).
• At least 3 years of proven sales experience.
• Experience in sales or support across a diverse customer and channel partner network.
• Strong business acumen with a track record in developing action plans, setting goals, and strategic account management.
• Self-motivated individual with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
• Genuine interest in animal agriculture.
• Capability to influence the decision-making process across various customer targets.
• Proficient in conveying scientific information and key messages regarding Balchem products to significant dairy influencers.
• Familiarity with the consultative selling process.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both in writing and verbally.
