This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of the complete commercial sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
• Generate and oversee a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, partnerships, and territory development.
• Identify and prioritize prospects that align with Drata's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
• Conduct consultative discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to uncover their business challenges.
• Develop and implement strategic account and territory plans to drive pipeline creation and enhance revenue growth.
• Maintain a disciplined sales process, ensuring proper qualification and accurate forecasting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing B2B SaaS sales position, including at least 2 years as a quota-carrying new business closer.
• Proven track record of exceeding quotas, generating pipelines, or receiving recognition as a top performer in previous positions.
• A strong hunter mentality with a genuine enthusiasm for creating new opportunities.
• Experience confidently demonstrating software to a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, MEDDICC, SPICED, or similar frameworks.
