This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee relationships with major retail accounts and independent distributors.
• Cultivate strong connections with clients and negotiate merchandising contracts.
• Ensure top-notch product placement, merchandising, and availability across various channels.
• Address consumer issues, resolve complaints, and follow up on after-sales activities to guarantee satisfaction.
• Provide training and education for store personnel on product features, benefits, and brand values.
• Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies as necessary.
• Conduct in-store visits to bolster sales initiatives and evaluate product performance.
• Propel sell-out growth by ensuring ideal product placement, stock availability, and execution of promotions.
• Merchandise shelves, displays, prime placements, and refrigerated areas according to brand standards and planograms.
• Identify and rectify gaps in distribution and in-store execution to maximize sales potential.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and stock levels using CRM tools.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
• Implement pricing and promotional strategies that align with company objectives.
• Develop and execute plans to meet sales targets in the designated territory.
• Identify and pursue new retail accounts and business opportunities to enhance distribution.
• Strengthen ties with key customers, brokers, and distributors.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to uncover trends and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with brokers to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and promotional efforts.
• Equip brokers with essential training and product knowledge to enhance their performance.
• Maintain regular communication with brokers to synchronize objectives and ensure achievement of KPIs.
• Work closely with marketing and operations teams to coordinate promotional plans, inventory management, and distribution.
• Relay customer feedback, market trends, and suggestions for continuous product enhancement to management.
• DEC (College Diploma) in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of sales experience in the consumer packaged goods or beverage sector, with a proven record in direct distribution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: capacity to work independently and effectively manage time.
• Results-oriented with a commitment to surpassing sales targets.
• Knowledge of retail and wholesale distribution models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
