This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create and implement a territory business strategy aimed at meeting and surpassing annual sales targets.
• Discover, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities across OEM, engine distribution, rental equipment, industrial, fluid power, and municipal sectors.
• Cultivate and enhance existing customer relationships while increasing Cattron's market presence.
• Seek out new customers through networking, referrals, trade exhibitions, industry associations, and strategic account development.
• Conduct visits to customers to comprehend their technical needs and recommend suitable Cattron products and solutions.
• Deliver technical product presentations, demonstrations, and application assistance to clients.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations to create tailored solutions.
• Oversee all sales opportunities, customer interactions, and forecasts using HubSpot CRM.
• Keep precise records of customer communications, quotes, sales activities, and account strategies.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate efforts with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer support.
• Represent Cattron at industry trade shows, client events, and sales meetings.
• Provide prompt sales forecasts, market insights, and business updates.
• Travel within the designated territory.
• Demonstrated success in outside technical sales.
• At least five years of experience in industrial or technical sales.
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge.
• Preferred experience in diesel engines, mobile equipment, industrial automation, fluid power, hydraulics, OEM manufacturing, construction, agriculture, or municipal equipment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
• Self-driven with a strong inclination for hunting new opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–60%, including overnight trips.
