This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Accountable for cultivating agency relationships to enhance the profitability of GEICO and its affiliated products within a specified jurisdiction.
• Supervise the creation and implementation of policies aimed at strengthening agency partnerships.
• Identify, interview, and approve new agency appointments to broaden GEICO’s distribution network.
• Manage agents in a designated region through in-person visits, virtual meetings, phone communications, and emails to foster relationships, provide training, and oversee agency performance.
• Enforce the policies and procedures associated with the agency program.
• Evaluate agents' performance against established goals, procedures, and guidelines.
• Facilitate effective communication; support agencies in crafting local marketing strategies and plans to achieve growth objectives.
• Utilize data analysis to formulate pre-call strategies that highlight the most significant opportunities within the assigned area of responsibility or particular agencies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on GEICO and its affiliated products, features, and tools.
• Provide training to agency staff regarding GEICO and affiliated products, services, and value propositions.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years in sales or relevant insurance experience (claims preferred).
• Previous experience in driving sales performance.
• Familiarity with various insurance lines is advantageous (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health).
• Adherence to GEICO’s driving standards and/or policy.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodation, including but not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
• Capability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally over the phone.
• Willingness to meet both in-person and virtually.
• Proficient in following intricate instructions, resolving conflicts or facilitating conflict resolution, along with possessing strong organizational and priority-setting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
