This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Accountable for the expansion of agency partnerships to enhance the profitability of GEICO and GEICO-related offerings within a specified territory.
• Manages the formulation and implementation of strategies aimed at strengthening agency affiliations.
• Identifies, interviews, and approves new agency appointments to broaden GEICO’s distribution network.
• Oversees agents within a defined area using in-person meetings, virtual platforms, phone calls, and emails to foster relationships, provide training, and assess agency performance.
• Enforces the guidelines and protocols of the agency program.
• Evaluates agent performance against established goals, procedures, and standards.
• Conducts training sessions for agency personnel on GEICO and GEICO-related products, services, and value propositions.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of sales or relevant insurance experience (claims experience preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in achieving sales outcomes.
• Previous exposure to various insurance lines is advantageous (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health).
• Ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally over the phone.
• Capable of following intricate instructions, resolving conflicts or facilitating conflict resolution, and exhibiting strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in learning and applying substantial amounts of technical and procedural knowledge.
• Adherence to GEICO’s driving standards and/or policies.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
