This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Accountable for meeting sales goals and increasing sales volume for Hoya Vision Care products within a designated territory.
• Providing outstanding customer service experiences.
• Acquiring new Eye Care Professional (ECP) accounts.
• Enhancing the business of existing ECPs and fostering customer loyalty through the delivery of Hoya Vision Care’s branded products, marketing initiatives, service excellence, and technical expertise.
• Demonstrating proficiency in strategy execution, account prospecting, and acquiring new business for the territory.
• Utilizing business acumen to consistently achieve or surpass defined sales targets and territory performance metrics, including account prospecting, new business acquisition, and monthly budget management.
• Building customer relationships through a consultative sales approach and establishing a trusted advisor relationship with ECPs to facilitate the growth of their branded product sales and overall business.
• Collaborating closely with Lab Partners, Customer Service, Marketing, Revenue Management, and other internal teams to ensure successful customer relations and the attainment of sales goals.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven sales achievements with 1 to 3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge and experience in optics are beneficial for grasping the complexities of vision care.
• Proficient in computer and presentation skills (Microsoft Suite).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance coverage, and access to a vehicle.
• Able to regularly operate a vehicle for an extended duration, traveling up to 90% of the time within the territory.
• Capable of driving for extended periods under various conditions and spending significant time seated in the vehicle.
• Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Hoya’s MVR policy, as driving is a critical job function.
• Flexible work schedules with occasional out-of-area and overnight travel expected.
