This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the fixed gas and flame detection product portfolio by successfully completing the mandatory sales and technical training program, and leverage this expertise to promote the products to both new and existing customers in the AMER region.
• Accountable for meeting established sales targets for the region by identifying sales opportunities within new and existing markets to achieve or surpass business growth goals.
• Cultivate robust business relationships with distributors in the AMER region.
• Oversee and evaluate the performance of current distributors.
• Identify and target potential new distribution partners for fixed gas and flame detection solutions in the region.
• Recognize key end-user accounts within the territory and implement a sales strategy to support both direct and distributor selling structures to drive sales growth.
• Regularly engage with existing customers, distributors, and prospects within the sales territory to understand their evolving business requirements.
• Develop customer-specific business plans.
• Participate in sales meetings and exhibitions both in the AMER region and internationally as a member of the AMER Sales team.
• Deliver sales presentations, customer training sessions, and seminars.
• Utilize our CRM, ERP, and other IT tools daily to provide customer information, forecasts, and reports.
• Collaborate effectively with other internal departments including Marketing, Inside Sales & Customer Service, Field Service, Product Management, and Application Engineering.
• Attend conferences and professional association meetings to promote the group’s product solutions and brands.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities, providing relevant reports and information on a weekly basis.
• In-depth knowledge of the fixed gas and flame detection market in the AMER region and closely related markets.
• Comprehensive understanding of gas detection systems from both technical and sales perspectives.
• Basic knowledge to offer first-level service support to customers.
• Must demonstrate a professional field sales record of 5+ years with a proven success history.
• Proven capability to train and educate both internal and external customers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, both externally and internally.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective customer networks.
• Demonstrated success in business development and lead qualification.
• Degree-level qualification in sales, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Results-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed.
