This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Represent, promote, and sell our stone products within the designated territories of Washington and Oregon while working with team members to meet sales targets in the segments defined by Westlake Stone.
• Create and sustain territory plans to fulfill company and regional objectives.
• Organize demonstrations, training sessions, and events for architects, builders, contractors, and distributors.
• Schedule and engage in local trade association events and trade shows.
• Collaborate effectively with the Regional Sales Leader, fellow team members in the region, and other Westlake sales personnel to achieve our One Company goals.
• Oversee key metrics including forecasts and budgets, while monitoring financial performance indicators such as gross margin and sales revenue within the assigned territory and region.
• Analyze data derived from lead generation, industry and market research, and other reporting factors.
• Suggest modifications to company products, practices, and marketing strategies to take advantage of current competitive dynamics.
• Timely submission of all written and electronically transmitted sales reports and forecasts is required.
• Comprehend and convey basic installation procedures in accordance with the Concrete Masonry Hardscape Association (CMHA).
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of direct sales experience is essential; experience in pull-through building product sales is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in increasing sales through the development of new business opportunities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, with the capability to coordinate activities and achieve initiatives.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
• Highly motivated and results-oriented individual.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook 365.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is advantageous.
