This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new accounts within the municipal, industrial, and mining sectors throughout Utah.
• Account Management: Cultivate and enhance relationships with current clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
• Technical Consultation: Perform site assessments and equipment evaluations to suggest the best pump and equipment options based on flow, head, and fluid characteristics.
• Project Bidding: Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to create technical proposals and competitive project bids.
• Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regional project advancements (e.g., municipal infrastructure improvements).
• CRM Management: Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities, pipeline progression, and customer interactions.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, ideally in municipal, industrial equipment, pumps, or a related mechanical field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a relevant field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
• Technical Aptitude: Capability to interpret blueprints/schematics and comprehend fluid dynamics or mechanical systems.
• Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Self-driven with the capacity to operate independently in a remote territory.
• Travel: Willingness to travel across Utah, northern Arizona, and into Nevada for client meetings and site evaluations. A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
