This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee a portfolio of designated client accounts, fostering robust, long-lasting relationships.
• Recognize opportunities for account development and growth, including upselling and cross-selling relevant products or services.
• Manage the relationship with independent Sales Representatives.
• Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
• Evaluate market trends, customer requirements, and competitor actions to inform sales strategies.
• Establish and nurture strong connections with key decision-makers and influencers within each account.
• Monitor and manage sales activities and customer interactions through CRM software.
• Assess and analyze account performance metrics to ensure targets are met and provide strategic insights for enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure client needs are met and addressed.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales representatives to meet and surpass targets.
• Examine sales data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Formulate action plans to tackle any sales performance gaps or challenges.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 30% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in automation, distribution, or manufacturing sectors.
• Leadership experience, particularly in managing or influencing the sales department, is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a sales team, including both company employees and independent sales representatives.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and strategic goals as both an individual contributor and sales leader.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams to deliver automation solutions.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous priorities.

• Must possess a self-motivated attitude with integrity, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
