This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Meet the sales targets and surgical case mix requirements for the designated territory.
• Generate new business through competitive sales strategies while nurturing existing customer relationships across multiple tiers.
• Oversee surgical case coverage, providing guidance to surgeons and their teams before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Comprehend and adhere to the stipulations outlined in local contracts; optimize opportunities to enhance account penetration.
• Promote the clinical and economic advantages of PolyNovo and Novosorb technologies.
• Stay informed about and adapt to market fluctuations, including local market intelligence, national competitor campaigns, and insights from Definitive Health data.
• Maintain an up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with current information on cases, pipeline account updates, surgeon meetings and communications, account statuses, and completion of all self-assigned and delegated tasks (primarily daily, with some dictated by activity).
• Initiate and oversee the VAC process with new accounts.
• Conduct hospital in-services with operating room (OR) teams and post-operative care units.
• Manage the allocated budget effectively.
• Utilize corporate resources efficiently to achieve targets.
• Ensure proper planning, deployment, and management of assets.
• Relay market feedback/input to the Quality, Regulatory, and R&D teams via case report surveys.
• Attend regional and national tradeshows as required.
• Organize local journal clubs, grand rounds, and peer-to-peer events as specified in the employee's business plan.
• Promptly fulfill all administrative responsibilities as required, including expense reports, inventory reporting (trunk stock and consigned), forecasting, etc.
• Efficiently process all orders for both bill-only and consignment accounts.
• Conduct post-market surveillance customer surveys after surgical cases and dressing changes.
• Review the Zoho CRM dashboard to ensure all orders are accounted for and assess sales results.
• Bachelor's degree in business or BMedSci/BSc (Life Sciences).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical device sales (Operating Room sales is highly preferred).
• Scientific insight into biotechnology.
• Capability to deliver technical and sales training and support to new team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficient in utilizing personal computers, with strong skills in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated accountability for the quality and promptness of work outputs.
• Significant experience working independently and within a small team environment.
• Advanced proactive problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to maintain a high standard of reporting, documentation, and organization.
• Experience in selling within the complex acute wound market is highly preferred.
